Weekend Reading 10.24.20

During the pandemic, I’ve been teaching my teenage son to cook, and the lesson this week was the art of making simple red spaghetti sauce. I find that involving him in the cooking accomplishes two things, it gives him confidence to make other recipes for himself and he’s actually enjoying the food more. Win win!

This week on the Restless Art site I added two new prints, ‘Red Barn’ from the nearby Sonoma hills and ‘Geranium Show’ from the streets of Lisbon. I’ve been sharing some of my deeper thoughts on the Instagram account, lately the topics have been lessons from solitude, why setbacks are just setups for comebacks, and how we become the company we keep. I also wrote about my favorite source for printing inexpensive same day 11×14″ and 8×10″ art.
